In-home ABA therapy

Sessions at home, where your child’s daily routines happen.

How it works

A behavior technician comes to your home at the times agreed, guided by a plan that a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designs and supervises. At home, your child practices skills where they use them:

  • meals and snacks
  • play and time with siblings
  • getting dressed, washing hands and other routines
  • bedtime and the moments between activities

What it asks of your family

An adult caregiver usually needs to be home during sessions. A quiet space helps, with the toys and activities your child enjoys. The behavior analyst also visits, to supervise the sessions and to practice strategies with you.
