Referrals
Refer a child
For doctors, therapists, schools and families: tell us how to reach the family, and we will contact them.
How a referral works
Step 1: Send the referral
Fill in the form on this page or call us. A diagnosis or a prescription helps, if you have it.
Step 2: We contact the family
We call the family to explain ABA, answer their questions and ask what they hope for.
Step 3: We check coverage
We confirm what the child’s insurance covers and what it needs before services start.
Step 4: An assessment
A behavior analyst meets the child and the family and writes the plan with them.
Send a referral
Only what we need to reach the family. Please do not send medical records here: we will ask for them in a safe way.
Questions about referrals
Does the family need to agree?
Yes. We contact the family, explain ABA and go ahead only if they want to.
What should a referral include?
How to reach the family, the child’s age and, if you have them, the diagnosis and the insurance plan. We ask for documents later, in a safe way.
Can a parent reach out without a referral?
Yes. Parents and caregivers can contact us directly. Some insurance plans ask for a referral or a prescription first, and we tell you if yours does.
Ready to talk?
Tell us a little about your child and your family. We will explain the next steps and answer your questions.
